SUGARSTONE
/
Marrying dreamy soundscapes of electric nostalgia with hard rock like "a love child of Nine Inch Nails and Duran Duran" (whose Simon Le Bon is a supporter of the band), Salford's SUGARSTONE arm themselves with a cameraraderie formed growing up together in sleepy Northern towns.
Paying their dues and their bills working in the bubbling and buzzing Manchester nightlife that punctuates their sound, the band have spent the past 12 months playing around the UK, and also a self organised and funded tour of New Zealand and Australia. Months and miles of bad food and sleeping bags have seen the bands sound and mindset toughen up and their stage presence become absolutely 'incendiary'.
As well as their run of sold out shows in Manchester, most recently the prestigious Deaf Institute, their live prowess has promoted their status to festivals such as Kendall Calling, and sharing stages with the likes of Kid Kapichi, Calva Louise, Strange Bones, CLT DRP, Witch Fever and Tocky Horror.
