New Polypores single and album

We're absolutely chuffed to bits to announce we are releasing the new album from Polypores on Friday June 13th.

'Cosmically A Shambles’ sees a slight shift in direction from his signature sound, with stronger elements of rhythm and melody than his more abstract back catalogue though still remaining unmistakably Polypores. Highly textural, intricately woven modular synth tapestries, through to whirling psychedelic freak-outs with hypnotic polyrhythms and fuzzed-up drum machines.

Still creating in the same method, using modular synths and ‘playing’, rather than the use of samples or studio or synthesiser pre sets, this album features more beats and textures, seeing a shift towards almost psyc or krautrock.

Preceded by his first ever 7” lathe cut single ‘Whorl’, 6 different reworkings of the album track, with 2 released on limited lathe cut 7" vinyl.

Available as limited edition (350 copies) ‘Shambolic Yellow’ vinyl, CD and download with international distribution through Cargo.

The first 100 copies of the vinyl come with a hand printed, signed and numbered lino print. These were cut by artist Yin Wrong, who hand wrote the text for the album artwork, with the physical printing being done by Stephen and the Crackedankles team.
